A Guide to Discord Bots
Introduction
First of all, what is a Discord Bot?
It is a third-party software that runs on a Discord account.
It can have any feature you want: making your server management easier, adding fun to it, adding roleplay to it...
The possibility are almost endless, but these are the most seen features.
We usually differentiate bots by their category:
- Moderation bots: kicks, bans, mutes, auto-roles...
- Music bots: play musics in voice channels
- Fun bots: games, ranks/levels, roleplay...
- Utility bots: adds useful features for everyone to use
- All-In-One bots: bots that can be included in most categories, like Moderation + Music + Fun
We usually find bots that do what we need, but what if we don't?
Or maybe you want a specific feature, something very precise for your server.
Or you just want to own a cool bot for everyone to use.
Then let's make our own bot!
...but how?

You need to know what you want to do, but also what you are allowed to do.
